About this Event

The Decision Sciences for Child Health Collaborative (DSCCo) SIG is pleased to host a virtual Discovery Dialogues featuring Eliza Ennis, a PhD Candidate in Health Policy at Stanford University.

Talk Description: Healthcare costs are frequently cited as a defining access barrier for patients. This talk leverages a natural experiment in Colombia to measure what happened when contraceptive prices were capped with a national medication policy, focusing on fertility impacts and variation in outcomes by region.

About the Speaker: Eliza Ennis is a PhD Candidate in Health Policy (Decision Sciences) at Stanford University, as well as an NSF Graduate Research Fellow and Knight-Hennessy Scholar. She uses simulation modeling, causal inference, and mixed social science research methods to answer questions about the effectiveness of health policies and programs. Her work spans infectious disease, reproductive health, and substance use.
