Call for Mentees
Dear SMDM Member
As in previous years, the SMDM Career Development Committee is excited to offer a formal mentoring program this year. The SMDM One-to-One Mentoring program at the Annual Meeting offers the opportunity for students, post-doctoral fellows, junior faculty/scientists, and other trainees and early career researchers to meet and get advice from more established members of the SMDM. The focus of the one-to-one mentoring may include discussions on career development, pathways to success in the field of medical decision-making, advice and insight about professional development, or how to become more involved in SMDM activities.
If you would like to participate as a mentee, please click the button below to sign up for the program and to view a list of SMDM mentors who have volunteered for this program. You will be matched to a mentor based on your preference. Participating mentors and mentees are encouraged to communicate before the annual meeting to make arrangements to meet.
Please sign up by Thursday, 5 October, 2023
Please contact info@SMDM.org if you have trouble using the website or have any questions about the mentoring program.
In the past, mentors and mentees have found this program to be a tremendously rewarding experience. We hope that you will participate, and we look forward to seeing you in October!
Sincerely,
Hailey Saunders, MSc (haileysaunders@hotmail.com)
