___________________________________________
The SMDM Young Scholars awards will provide scholars with an annual membership and registration to the annual SMDM meeting. During the meeting, scholars will be connected to an SMDM mentor and have structured opportunities to meet other members and leaders in Medical Decision Making. Mentors will orient scholars to SMDM, provide career guidance during the meeting, and continue to check in with the scholars over the course of the year. Over time, it is hoped that we will develop a community of SMDM Young Scholar awardees. The award will be aligned with SMDM strategic plans to increase diversity of SMDM membership.
