SMDM Announces Incoming Editor-in-Chief of Journals

I am pleased to announce that long-time SMDM member, Dr. Brian Zikmund-Fisher, Associate Professor of Health Behavior & Health Economics at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, has been appointed as the incoming Editor-in-Chief of our journals, Medical Decision Making (MDM) and Medical Decision Making Policy & Practice (MPP).
Dr. Zikmund-Fisher will succed Dr. Alan Schwartz, The Michael Reese Endowed Professor of Medical Education at the University of Illinois-Chicago, beginning January 2021, becoming the eighth editor of MDM and the second editor of MPP.
Dr. Zikmund-Fisher's expertise in health communication will guide the journals to the next level, ensuring high quality publications that clearly show "how to do things right" methodologically and practically in the field of medical and health decision making.
