We’re thrilled to share that SMDM is launching a new Meeting partnership with ISPOR. As part of this collaboration, the two Societies will jointly develop sessions under a shared overarching thematic area of Frontiers in Modeling, which will be featured at both the ISPOR and SMDM Meetings.

For SMDM 2026 in Oslo, our sub-theme within this shared framework will be Frontiers in Causal Modeling. The jointly developed session will highlight cutting-edge methodological advances and showcase perspectives representing the strengths of both Societies—SMDM’s deep roots in decision sciences and ISPOR’s global leadership in health economics and outcomes research.

More details on speakers and structure will be announced soon. We’re excited about this collaboration and the new scientific connections it will spark across both communities.
