Her work examines how automated responses distort psychometric properties, prevalence estimates, and statistical inference in behavioral health research. She currently works on NIH-funded research developing and validating a new measurement tool.
Emily K. Miller, PhD, MSW is a Research Scientist at Boston University’s Center on the Ecology of Early Development. Her research expertise is in mental health, trauma, and social determinants of health, as well as early childhood education and care. Her work focuses on the impact of socio-cultural and political contexts on wellbeing and childhood outcomes, including how AI impacts research and the repercussions of using fraudulent data to inform policy and programs.
