The Decision Sciences for Child Health Collaborative (DSCCo) SIG is pleased to host a virtual Discovery Dialogues featuring Dr. Tran T. Doan, PhD MPH, an Assistant Professor of Health Systems, Management, and Policy in the Colorado School of Public Health.

Talk Description: Integrating behavioral health into pediatric primary care (IBHC) offers a critical opportunity to improve early identification, expand treatment access, prevent suicide, and reduce healthcare costs. Evidence on the long-term comparative effectiveness and patient- and family-centeredness of pediatric IBHC remains limited. Dr. Doan is seeking feedback on the Specific Aims page for her NIMH K01 proposal to evaluate the health-economic outcomes of pediatric behavioral health integration services.

About the Speaker: Tran T. Doan, PhD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor of Health Systems, Management, and Policy in the Colorado School of Public Health at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Her research examines the impact of integrated systems of care on health and economic outcomes of children and families.
